‘We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope’ Romans 5:3-4 (NKJV)

Martin Luther King Jr. made this statement: ‘If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you to go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream’. If you are to keep your hopes and dreams alive, then you too must learn to wrestle with hope, and win the battle of courage. Don’t let setbacks and delays destroy it; let hope arise, and believe that Yehovah always has the final word. When you are in a season of battle, you can feel a shift in atmosphere as you start to break through and believe. Begin to rejoice because you know that He is in control. His glory is produced in those tough times of suffering. Can you access within yourself the hope that rejoices in the journey as much as it does in the victory? Do you realise, in the depth of your being, that in challenging seasons, Yehovah is not hurting you, but is developing you for His purpose? Those times of struggle produce gold that lasts forever! Just because you can’t understand the delay, it doesn’t mean that He doesn’t want to heal you, restore you, or bless you. Quite the opposite! The process is as important as the product, and He will show you treasures on the way if you are only willing to look. Remember that Yehovah always has your best at heart; He wants to heal you from the inside out, not just fix a problem. What do you need to choose to believe today? Ask Him for hope, strength and courage for the journey!
