Yeshua Hamashiach, reigns Sovereignly over all the earth. He is robed in the majesty of His creation, and clothed with the splendor of the universe. The power of every atom is in His hands. Yeshua has put it all into place; it is established, and can never be moved. He is greater than any storm of life – a physical, raging body of water, like the one Yeshua calmed in the gospels, or the swirling chaos of a storm in your own life – mind, body, spirit, circumstances or family. Yeshua is in control over all these things. He may calm the storm, He may send help your way, He may teach you to swim with greater strength, but He will never let you go. The Word of Yehovah brings reassurance: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you” (Isaiah 43:1-2). One word from Yehovah can change everything. Storms are calmed, mountains moved. Although He has the power to change the universe, Yehovah Himself never changes. His Word, commands, and Promises stand firm. For all their noise and tumult, Yeshua is mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea. He will keep you strong in whatever storm you face, if you turn to Him, and lean on Him as your rock. Many things in life come and go, but He remains the same. Make sure that your feet are firmly planted on Yeshua, the Rock. If you wobble when storms come, ground yourself in His Word.
