‘I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of Yehovah’ Daniel 3:25 (NKJV)
If you look for Yeshua in the Tanakh, you see Him, or a shadow of Him, in every single book! In Daniel, He appears in the fire with the three men who stood up for Yehovah against King Nebuchadnezzar. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego had taken a stand to worship Yehovah alone. They rejected the political correctness of their day, and stood out among the crowd because of it. When confronted, they were willing to lay their lives down for what they believed was right, and were condemned to death for choosing Yehovah above the king. However, when the king looked into the furnace, instead of three men, he saw four! And instead of being engulfed in flames and burning to death, they were walking around, very much alive! The king saw a man, ‘like the Son of Yehovah’, because it was the Son of Yehovah – Yeshua! For those men, the day ended very differently to how it started. They went from being sentenced to death, to being promoted, with Yehovah being famous and honored in the land. When you take a stand for Him, He will stand up for you. He will be with you in the challenging and dangerous places, as well as in the good and easy ones. What fires do you have to contend with? Perhaps it is the opinions of others who don’t like Yehovah, or mockery, threats or persecution. If you face a furnace today, step into it in faith, knowing that Yehovah is for you, and that He can, and will save the day. Yeshua will be with you in the fire, so hold on, and wait for the ‘fourth man’.
